Description
Rupatadine fumarate is a dual histamine H1 receptor and platelet-activating factor (PAF) receptor antagonist used to treat allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria. It is a second-generation antihistamine, meaning it’s non-sedating and effectively blocks histamine’s effects. Rupatadine is also a PAF antagonist, further aiding in the treatment of allergic symptoms.
